This challenging and delicate remodel was completed with occupied patient care rooms both above and below.
Located in Providence Portland’s main tower, the 8,384 SF remodel unites the maternal and infant care wing of the hospital where close to 3,000 babies are delivered each year. The new unit consists of 4 Triage rooms, 2 ADA patient rooms, 14 regular patient rooms, a clean and soiled utility room, 2 Nurse’s stations, an IDF Room, a Meds room, two separate Nourish stations; one for patients and one for staff, and two dedicated mechanical rooms; one for the dedicated supply fan and a second for the dedicated exhaust fan.
